JEEJeeto ("we," "our," or "us") operates an independent computer-based test (CBT) simulator and preparation portal. This Privacy Policy details our practices regarding the collection, processing, storage, and protection of your personal and educational data when using our platform, in adherence to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

2. Information We Collect

To provide practice tests, scoring algorithms, and performance tracking, we collect the following categories of data:

• Personal Identifiers: Name, email address, and authentication credentials upon registration.
• CBT & Telemetry Data: Question answers, question review flags, time spent per problem, test attempts, score history, and chapter-wise diagnostics.
• Payment & Billing Metadata: Payment gateway transaction IDs, subscription tier, and validity periods (we never handle raw card numbers or UPI PINs).
• Usage & Device Data: IP address, device type, browser information, and aggregated performance metrics via Vercel Speed Insights.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

We process your data strictly to:

• Provide authenticated access to tests, question sets, and personalized analytics dashboards.
• Generate subject-wise accuracy, speed diagnostics, and chapter-wise weakness reports.
• Manage paid subscriptions and prevent concurrent unauthorized multi-device sharing.
• Deliver critical service communications, including OTP verification and security alerts.

4. Third-Party Infrastructure & Services

We partner with vetted, secure cloud service providers to power our platform. These providers process data strictly on our instructions under confidentiality obligations:

• Hosting & Edge Delivery: Vercel (Edge serverless routing and performance insights).
• Database Infrastructure: PostgreSQL / Supabase (Encrypted storage for user accounts and test logs).
• Payment Gateway: Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant payment processing).
• Transactional Email: Cloud SMTP providers for password resets and OTP delivery.

5. Payment Security & Financial Information

All subscription payments are encrypted and processed by RBI-authorized, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways. JEEJeeto never accesses, processes, or stores your banking passwords, CVVs, debit/credit card numbers, or UPI PINs on our servers.

6. Cookies & Session Authentication

We use essential HTTP-only authentication cookies and browser session storage to keep you logged in safely and preserve test states during network drops. We do not deploy third-party advertising trackers or sell browsing data.

7. Data Retention & Deletion Policy

We retain your profile data, mock test records, and analytics as long as your account remains active. If you wish to delete your account and associated test history, you may request permanent erasure by emailing us. Verification records and financial invoices may be retained for statutory and accounting audit requirements.

8. Student & Minor Privacy

JEEJeeto is designed for secondary school students and competitive exam aspirants, many of whom may be under 18 years of age. We collect only educational test telemetry and profile identifiers necessary for CBT simulation. Subscriptions should be purchased with the permission and assistance of a parent or legal guardian.

9. User Rights (DPDP Act Compliance)

In accordance with applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access and review your stored profile details and test attempt records.
• Correct or update inaccurate personal details through your account settings.
• Request erasure of your personal data and account records.
• Withdraw consent for optional communications.
